Print from an Android device using the HP Smart app, HP ePrint, HP Wireless Direct, Google Cloud Print service, HP Print Service plugin, HP Voice-activated printing, and the Bluetooth function. Connect your smartphone and HP printer through any one of the aforementioned applications.
PRINT FROM AN ANDROID DEVICE USING THE HP EPRINT SOFTWARE
1.Link your HP printer to a network source with an active internet connection.
2.Connect the Android device used by you to the same wireless network.
3.Open the built-in email application on your smartphone.
4.Touch the Compose icon (pencil-shaped icon) to load a new mail.
5.Fill the To field with the printer’s email address.
6.Make sure to type a subject line in the email subject box.
7.Link a document or photo to the email.
8.Tap the Send icon and the doc shares via email.
PRINT USING THE HP PRINT SERVICE PLUGIN AND HP WIRELESS DIRECT
USING HP PRINT SERVICE PLUGIN
1.Power on your Android phone and enable the Wireless feature in it. Link it to your router that is connected to a Wireless Access Point or a network source.
2.Run a speed test to check the internet connection speed and connectivity status of the network source. Bridge your printer with the same wireless network. Launch the Google Play Store application on your smartphone.
3.Type HP Print Service Plugin in the search bar and tap the Search icon. Touch the Install icon and select Accept on the confirmation window. Wait until the application installs on your mobile device.
4.After the installation completes, go the Settings menu. Locate the Applications category and then tap to open it. Open the HP Print Service application and slide the toggle switch to On.
5.Deactivate the other print service plugins if required. Open the document to print on your smartphone. Touch the Share icon and then choose the Print option from the drop-down list.
6.Wait for a while and a list of devices connected to the same network appears on the screen. Browse the list and then select your HP printer model from the list.
7.Navigate to the page’s bottom to change any print settings and tap the Print icon. Check the output tray for the printed document. You can also choose DIRECT-xx-HP to print with Wireless Direct.
8.Connect your HP printer to an electrical supply and power it on. Tap the Wireless Direct icon on the printer’s access panel. Select the On with security option to encrypt the connection.
9.Note down the security passcode and then tap the OK icon. Turn on the Wireless feature on your smartphone. Select HP-Print-xx-[HP Your printer model] and type the password on the printer’s keypad.
10.Open the photo to print and tap the Share icon. Select the Print option from the Action menu. Choose your HP printer model name from the list and tap Print.
