- If the printer is connected to a wireless network, try to print a network configuration page to check if the correct IP address is used.
- Verify if the Brother printer is set as default. Open the Printer folders and make sure to check the mark on the Brother’s icon. Open the Control Panel of the system.
- Select the Hardware and Sound option. Click the Devices and Printers option under Hardware. If you are using the Windows operating system, select Start-> Devices and Printers.
- If the checkmark is not available on your Brother machine, right-click on it and activate the Set as a Default printer option.
- Remove all the print jobs in the print queue. Right-click on the printer’s icon. Select the See What's Printing. Click Printer and Cancel All Documents.
