Steps to perform the Photocopy function easily on your printer
- Turn your HP printer on and wait until the carriage is silent.
- Connect all the necessary connections that are needed for your printer.
- Make sure you loaded enough printing sheets on the input tray of your printer.
- Place the document on the scanner glass or document feeder.
- Tap the Copy tab which will start the Copy function on your printer.
- Do if there are any alterations to be done.
- Press Start button to copy function.
- Tap the Done option after completing the process.
Detailed steps on how to Photocopy using the HP Printer
- Turn On your HP Printer and connect all the necessary connections that are needed to connect your printer.
- Connect your printer only to the direct power socket. Do not use any surge protectors.
- Make sure that you have loaded HP recommended printing sheets on the input tray of your printer and check if you have sufficient ink levels on your printer.
- If you are using the wired network connection to connect your printer connect the USB cable to the port allocated in your printer. This may avoid interruptions while performing the printer function.
- In case if you use a wireless network, the make sure you connect the printer and the system to the same network. Your printer will not connect with the open networks. Connect it with home network only.
- On the printer display panel of your HP printer, select the connection type as Wi-Fi and choose the home network name. Enter the password details of your network using the keypad of your Canon printer.
- Make sure that you install the printer drivers that are compatible with your HP printer. Check if the printer driver that you’ve installed is the latest version.
- Place your original document on the scanner pane or the document feeder. If the document is placed on the feeder, the print side should face up, and if it is placed on the scanner glass, the print side should face down.
- Press the Copy option after placing your document on the scanner glass and the Copy Properties dialog box will open. Do the changes if necessary.
- Click on the Start Copy option to perform the copy function using your Canon printer. After the process completes, press the Done option. Similarly, if you choose 2-sided copying in the properties box the same choice will be performed.
